Job Description:
- Process Analysis: Collaborate with the supply chain team to understand and map the current processes involved in procurement, inventory management, transportation, and distribution. Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Gather relevant data on supply chain processes, inventory levels, transportation costs, lead times, and other relevant metrics. Utilize analytical tools to analyze data and draw meaningful insights.
- Process Optimization: Propose and implement process improvements to streamline supply chain operations. These optimizations may include adopting new technologies, process reengineering, or lean principles.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, warehousing, and production, to implement process changes and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
- Continuous Improvement: Support the development of a culture of continuous improvement within the supply chain team. Encourage the sharing of best practices and contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives
Requirement:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw conclusions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, data analysis tools, or statistical software is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
- Familiarity with supply chain concepts and principles is advantageous.
