📝 Job Description:
- Execute manual test cases and assist in developing test scenarios based on requirements
- Identify, document, and track software defects using defect tracking tools
- Validate functional, regression, sanity, and smoke test cases
- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and senior QA engineers
- Understand functional and technical requirements of assigned modules
- Participate in test planning, test execution, and test result analysis
- Follow established QA processes, standards, and Agile/Scrum practices
- Actively participate in QA training, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- Education: BE / BTech / MCA / MSc (Computer Science, IT, or related discipline)
Skills:
- Strong understanding of:
- Software testing fundamentals and SDLC
- Manual testing concepts and defect lifecycle
- Basic exposure or knowledge of:
- Test case design techniques
- Databases and SQL
- Automation concepts or tools (Selenium, Cypress, etc.) – added advantage
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Eagerness to learn QA tools, processes, and automation frameworks
- Interest in enterprise applications and ERP systems
