Job Description:
- This role would mainly involve auditing expenses for practitioners of Deloitte U.S. Firms.
- Thorough understanding of policies to ensure expenses reimbursed are in compliance with the Deloitte U.S. Firms Expense and Reimbursement policies.
Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Firms Expense and Reimbursement Policies (APRs)
- Gain greater understanding of the end to end business and work independently
- Identify instances of non-compliance, spending patterns, unusual data trends, and potential fraud/abuse
- Research discrepancies identified during the audit, determine an appropriate course of action for resolving issues based on the results of the audit
- Communicate effectively with the employees and PPMDs and highlight findings and bring open issues to closure
- Follow-up on results of review and analysis; develop draft reports as needed; develop recommendations for improving policy and/or procedure
- Prioritize important time-based tasks (both primary and team tasks) and continuously strive to improve review processes to ensure an appropriate level of coverage is completed in an efficient manner
- Interact with respective Team Leads and Managers to resolve issues of a highly confidential or sensitive nature
- Own and deliver responsibilities with quality and within the required timelines
