- Manage the full data lifecycle, including, processing, analysis, quality assurance, and insights reporting.
- Deliver routine and ad-hoc analytical outputs, continuously developing a broader understanding of the business context.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to define requirements for data analysis and reporting.
- Assist in the implementation of data-driven solutions and business strategies.
- Perform complex and varied assignments, demonstrating technical expertise and specialized functional knowledge.
- Appropriately assess risk in all business decisions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations while upholding the firm’s ethical standards and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/University degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Business Analytics, or equivalent experience.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in data analysis, preferably with a focus on business or financial analytics.
- Proficiency in analytical tools such as SAS, Python, and SQL, and data visualization tools like Tableau.
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hive, Impala, PySpark) is beneficial.
- Familiarity with Generative AI (GenAI) tools and their application in data analysis is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to engage resources outside of direct control to achieve objectives.
- Experience in the banking or credit card industry is encouraged.
