Job Description:
- Assist in updating and maintaining privacy policies, notices, and documentation to ensure compliance with GDPR, CCPA, ISO 27001, ISO 27701, and other regulations.
- Help monitor regulatory compliance, track legal changes, and ensure privacy practices remain up to date.
- Provide support on privacy compliance for new initiatives, projects, and product changes while identifying and mitigating risks.
- Assist in handling data subject rights requests under GDPR, CCPA, and other regulations, ensuring compliance.
- Support privacy impact assessments (PIAs) to evaluate and mitigate risks in new projects, product launches, and services.
- Help develop and deliver privacy and security training programs for employees.
- Assist in conducting vendor risk assessments to ensure third-party vendors meet privacy and security standards.
- Support internal privacy audits, identify gaps in privacy controls, and assist in investigating privacy incidents.
- Collaborate with legal, security, and compliance teams to integrate privacy best practices across the organization.
- Stay updated on evolving privacy laws and industry trends, providing insights on their impact on the organization.
Requirement:
- Basic knowledge of privacy laws such as GDPR, CCPA, DPDP and other privacy regulations.
- Familiarity with standards such as ISO 27001 and ISO 27701.
- Strong communication skills to explain privacy concepts to teams across the organization clearly.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with privacy impact assessments and risk management frameworks.
