Job Descriptions:
- We’re Hiring | Software Engineer – Core Java (1–3 Years Experience)
- Location: Pune, Maharashtra, India
- Work Mode: On-site

Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, test, and maintain backend applications using Core Java.
- Analyze and troubleshoot application issues using logs, SQL queries, and UNIX/Linux commands.
- Fix bugs and implement minor enhancements in OMS applications.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and defect resolution activities.
- Support production issue investigation and root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to understand system architecture and coding standards.
- Follow SDLC processes, release management practices, and coding best practices.
- Document issue analysis, resolutions, and troubleshooting procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in Java backend development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Eagerness to learn complex business-critical systems and trading workflows.
Skills:
Core Java
- Strong understanding of Core Java and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Knowledge of Collections Framework, Exception Handling, and Multithreading fundamentals.
- Experience writing clean, maintainable, and efficient Java code.
- Basic debugging and troubleshooting skills.
Database / SQL
- Good knowledge of RDBMS concepts and SQL.
- Ability to write and optimize basic to intermediate SQL queries.
- Understanding of joins, indexes, constraints, and stored procedures.
UNIX / Linux
- Working knowledge of UNIX/Linux commands.
- Experience analyzing application logs and troubleshooting issues.
- Basic shell scripting knowledge is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Exposure to Capital Markets, Trading Systems, or Order Management Systems (OMS).
- Familiarity with JMS/MQ messaging systems.
- Basic understanding of FIX Protocol.
- Experience with Git, Maven, or Gradle.
- Exposure to Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
