Job Description:
- Ability to seamlessly work across data warehouses, databases and various data formats to bring them together as required.
- Create, develop and maintain VB6 and SQL Server based legacy software.
- Should have good hands on in creating stored procedures, functions, tables, cursors, hash tables handling large data types and and performing code review.
- Ability to deliver clean, documented and testable code.
- Ability to use proper coding techniques and efficiencies, testing methodologies and file access methods with an understanding of the operating system
- Proficient in debugging techniques and technical problem analysis
- Supporting the automotive data analysts in their operational work.
Skills:
- 1+ years of hands on working knowledge of PL/SQL programming, VB6 language
- SQL Server fundamentals, with good understanding of scalability issues, compression, partitioning, locks, transactions, would be an added advantage.
- Exposure to Python, Knime and other trending technologies will be a definite plus point.
- Perseverant and focused on details

- Adaptive to an agile rapidly changing organization
