Job Description:
- Review all new products and technologies to determine export capability and license requirements.
- Provides import and export product classifications, adhering to US and regional regulations.
- Submits appropriate import/export license requests and ensures strict adherence to license requirements.
- Ensures accurate country of origin are provided in international transactions and trade programs.
- Maintains all classification records per established local recordkeeping regulations.
Requirements:
- Thorough understanding of export and import (ECCN and HS) classification particularly around categories 3,4 and 5 of the ECCN and Chapter 84 of the HS system.
- Understanding of export-import regulations and ability to ensure compliance
- High level of attention to detail for accurate classification and documentation
- Strong, data-gathering and analytical skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in international Trade or similar experience.
