Job Description :
- Working directly on application / technical problem identification and resolution, including off-shift and weekend support functions
- Participating in integrated testing and user acceptance of application or infrastructure components
- Working with vendors on the integration of purchased application(s) and/or infrastructure
- Designing and implementing processes, or process improvements, to aid in development and support
- Anchor position in GFSD Legacy staffing model, responsible for providing liaison expertise for Yash (third party vendor) providing offshore development and break/fix services for several critical enterprise wide closing applications including: GLS Webload, GLS Lite, Globals Validation, Globals Webload, BMS Web Reporting, Departmental Expense, GLS, and Globals
- Responsible for evaluation of Application/Process design decisions, testing and validation, as well as the development of business cases in support of Application/Process re-designs
- Coordinates with appropriate parties to help validate business controls are integrated into Financial Systems process design and/or technology implementations
- Provide subject matter expertise (GIS Level 1 support) for number of critical enterprise financial closing Java applications including: GLS Webload, GLS Lite, Globals Validation, Globals Webload, BMS Web Reporting, and Departmental Expense Reporting
- Supports Common Security Module .net application
- Supports BMS, Archive Requests, Tax Requests, GLS, Globals Mainframe Cobol Applications
- Change Lead for all Enterprise Legacy Closing Applications
- R2R Java, .net change lead
- RTR ITGC Governance Lead
- Disaster Recovery Lead for Corporate Closing Applications
Skills :
