Job Description:
- Role Title: Trainee Test Engineer
- Experience: 0 – 1 year (in related field)
- Employment Type: Contractual ( a duration of 1-2 months duration is extended based on the individual’s performance and business requirement)

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough testing of game features, functionality, and performance to identify defects and ensure overall quality.
- Execute test cases and test plans according to project requirements and deadlines.
- Document and track bugs using designated bug tracking tools, providing detailed descriptions and steps to reproduce.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of test documentation, including test cases, test plans, and testing reports.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to game testing methodologies and tools.
- Adhere to quality assurance processes and standards to ensure consistency and efficiency in testing procedures.
- Contribute to the overall improvement of the QA process by providing feedback and suggestions for enhancements.
- Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the QA lead or management team.
Skills:
- Strong passion for gaming (should have played and be able to explain at least 4 to 5 games) with hands-on experience across platforms such as Mobile, PC, and Consoles.
- Good understanding of game mechanics, gameplay elements, and user experience.
- Familiarity with multiple game genres such as RPG, FPS, AR, Strategy, Sports, etc.
- Basic understanding of software testing concepts and QA methodologies.
- Knowledge of bug identification, reporting, and tracking processes is an added advantage.
- Working knowledge of smartphone platforms (Android and iOS).
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Candidates with a maximum of 2 arrears are eligible.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
