Job Description:
- Engineer Trainee will be responsible for maintaining and administering computing environments including systems software, applications software, hardware, and configurations etc.
- Analyst will monitor the production servers, scheduled jobs, incident management and receiving incidents and requests from end-users, analysing these and either responding to the end user with a solution.
- They need to provide support for Windows, Network, Database. Storage, Messaging and collaboration & Cloud support.
Responsibilities
- Perform activities based on defined guidelines in SOPs / Runbooks with an understanding of business impact.
- Adherence to customer security and compliance requirements.
- Adherence to customer communication etiquette.
- Ensure stated productivity requirements for the engagement.
- Contribution to continuous service improvement plans (CSI).
- Contribute to and participate proactively in knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Act as a buddy for new hires.
- Organisation – Adherence to Organisational policies and processes (including Cognizant’s security policies, LP, timelines etc).
- Associate should be client focused and able to work with users from different communities and cultures across the globe.
- To work in 24/7 environment, willing to relocate to any part of India based of project requirements.
Eligibility criteria:
- 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 Batch of B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech/MCA/M.S/M.Sc any domain/ all specializations (Full time degree).
- At the time of registration, consistent academic record of a minimum of 50% in X, XII, Diploma, UG & PG with no standing arrears in current education.
- At the time of joining, all recruits need to have a minimum 50% aggregate in the pursuing degree with no standing arrears.
- Opportunities are open to Indian nationals / OCIs / PIOs who are currently residing in India.
- Flexible to relocate to anywhere in India, work in any shift/technology / domain, including work from office location basis business requirements.
Support available from Cognizant (post joining as Full Time Employee):
- Night shift allowance will be paid by the project.
- Cabs for pick-up and drop, ensuring safety and comfort.

- Please note, if selected, you will join as a fresher as no prior work experience will be considered.
- Compensation – INR 4,00,000 per annum
