Job Description:

  • We have an opening across levels for a Service Desk Engineer, kindly share the below details with your updated resume to take this further.
  • Associate should be well versed with typical IT Service Desk tasks, including handling user issues over the phone, email & tickets with a minimum 40 months in a Voice-based Service Desk role for an International project.
  • Should be familiar with basic Citrix, VMware, Outlook, Network, VPN, Internet, and other Hardware/software troubleshooting techniques.
  • Should be willing to work in a 24×7 work environment

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Support:
    • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues for desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
    • Assist in diagnosing and repairing network connectivity problems, including LAN and Wi-Fi issues.
  • Incident Management:
    • Log and manage support requests in the ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution.
    • Prioritize and escalate critical issues to higher-level IT teams when necessary.
    • Document solutions and maintain a knowledge base for recurring problems.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1+ years of experience in desktop support or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Windows, Ubuntu and Linux operating systems.
  • Knowledge of basic networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP).
  • Experience with IT support tools, ticketing systems, and remote desktop applications.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Environment:

  • Office-based with occasional on-site visits to resolve issues.
  • Require flexible hours to support critical incidents outside regular business hours.
