📝 Job Description
- Collaborate with business units and technical staff to understand business requirements for use in designing appropriate solutions
- Evaluate options and provide recommendation on scope and scale of effort required to implement final requirements
- Analyze, document and design solutions for system enhancements
- Implementing minor system enhancements and Testing
- Ensure on schedule delivery of a high-quality product that meets business and technical requirements
- Participate in design and code review sessions as appropriate to ensure the quality of work delivered by teammates is in accordance with development standards.
- Work closely with project team members (other Analysts, Developers, Project Managers, Product Managers, etc.), and coordinate and interface with other groups (e.g. Network, QA, Operations, Engineering, etc.)
Requirements:
- Basic Qualifications
- 6 months to 2 years of relevant work experience
🛠️Prefferd Qualification:
- Proficiency in at least one programming language or technology including Mainframe COBOL, C/C++.
- Excellent problem analysis skills and ability to propose multiple solutions for a problem and choose the most apt solution.
- Must be able to understand high level design, translate it into code level technical design and build documentation for the developed code.
- Must have curiosity and creativity, to want to understand customer requirements and our processes and urge to come up with creative solutions.
- Strong communications skills, specifically, the absence of repeated grammatical or typographical errors, clear and concise written and spoken communications that demonstrate professionalism.
- Solid understanding of software engineering concepts and methodologies.
- Document process, designs, test results, and analysis.
- Lead root cause analysis and track defect resolution to completion.
- Review and provide feedback on development code, test designs and test cases.
- Highly driven, resourceful and results oriented.
- Good team player with willingness to listen and learn from colleagues to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ability to learn from mistakes and apply lessons to future challenges.
