Job Description:
- Serve as the bridge between development and operations teams, facilitating seamless collaboration to automate and streamline the software delivery pipeline.
- Implement and manage infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and tools to ensure efficient software development and release cycles.
- Focus on system reliability, scalability, and high availability through automation and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
Responsibilities:
- Automation and Infrastructure Management:
- Automate and manage cloud infrastructure using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) to provision and configure systems automatically.
- Ensure consistent and repeatable environment setups across all stages of development, testing, and production.
- CI/CD Pipeline Management:
- Design, implement, and maintain Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) pipelines to speed up the development and deployment process.
- Integrate testing, security, and deployment processes into automated pipelines.
- Monitoring and Performance Optimization:
- Implement and manage monitoring systems to track the health, performance, and availability of infrastructure and applications using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Nagios.
- Identify performance bottlenecks, optimize system performance, and ensure uptime.
- Collaboration and Troubleshooting:
- Work closely with developers, QA, and IT teams to ensure the smooth operation of systems and applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in real-time to minimize downtime.
- Security and Compliance:
- Implement security practices, including access control, encryption, and vulnerability management, to ensure the protection of applications and data.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Scalability and High Availability:
- Build systems that are scalable and resilient to high traffic loads.
- Use containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes) to achieve scalability and high availability.
Skills Requirements:
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Proficiency in automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI) for building automated deployment pipelines.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, Ruby) to automate tasks and workflows.
- Systems and Networking Skills:
