Job Description:
- Develop and deploy cybersecurity deception techniques such as honeypots, decoy systems, and fake data to lure cyber attackers.
- Work with security teams to design, implement, and monitor deception infrastructure.
- Analyze attack patterns and use deception technology to gather intelligence on cyber threats.
- Integrate deception technology with existing security systems like SIEM (Security Information and Event Management).
- Continuously monitor and fine-tune deception environments to enhance detection and response capabilities.
- Research emerging cybersecurity threats and implement new techniques to deceive and thwart cybercriminals.
- Collaborate with incident response teams to handle threats and breaches.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and technologies.
- Familiarity with network security, firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and endpoint protection.
- Knowledge of tools like Kali Linux, Metasploit, and Wireshark is a plus.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages for automating deception tasks.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to think like an attacker to develop effective deception strategies.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.
- Passion for cybersecurity and a desire to learn new technologies.
