Job Description:
- Conduct NGL market research and analytics for all weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual deliverables and keenly focus on the Indian Subcontinent
- Stay abreast of upstream, crude oil and refined product market trends, trade flows, pricing, general market dynamics, and individual company analysis
- Be responsible for NGL supply and demand modeling, and build and maintain models for existing products and new services
- Assist in developing market presentations by obtaining existing content and creating new content as required
- Maintain data in models and in databases to be used by the team for internal and external deliverables
- Collaborate with other cross-functional teams on research tasks and gain knowledge about oil, gas, refined products, and petrochemical markets
- Conduct midstream assets research in relation to NGL supply, demand, and trade
- Support team with client questions and ad-hoc requests of various complexity by providing timely, well-thought-out, and collaborative market views and insights
Eligibility:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, economics preferred
- Previous experience in NGL or energy related fields is a plus but not required
- Good knowledge of MS applications required (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and ability to use effectively including familiarity with interrogating relevant databases
- Knowledgeable in R, Power BI, and Python is a plus but not required
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills; ability to identify and articulate core/essential issues within complex problems and deliver insights and solutions. It deals well with ambiguity and minimal direction.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and attention to detail, including relevant language skills as appropriate
