📝 Job Description:
- Designation- Graduate Engineer Trainee-Testing
- Location Bangalore
- Experience: 0–1 Years (Fresher)
- Employment Type: Full-time
- We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated fresh graduates to join our Quality Engineering team as ETL Test Engineers/ Test Automation Engineers.
- You will support automation testing efforts, writing test scripts, and ensuring the quality of our software products.
- This is a great opportunity to start your career in software testing and automation with guidance from experienced professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing, and executing automation test scripts.
- Collaborate with QA and development teams to understand requirements and create test cases.
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Debug test failures, analyse logs, and report defects.
- Maintain test automation frameworks.
- Write and accomplish basic SQL queries for database validation.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement in testing processes.
Skills:
- Experience with Python programming (loops, functions, OOP concepts).
- Knowledge of SQL queries for data validation.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies (manual + automation).
- Familiarity with test automation concepts (e.g., Selenium, PyTest, or any automation tool) –.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred:
- Exposure to version control systems like Git.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Knowledge of API testing basics (Postman, REST API).
