Job Description:
- Knowledge of electronic Component key parameters
- Component lifecycle and obsolescence of electronic components and characteristics, finding form fit functional, upgrade/downgrade alternates, create the Obsolescence Health Review Report/ Lifecycle Analysis Report.
- Should have good knowledge of environmental standards like RoHS, cooperate with vendors to ensure that parts and processes meet those standards.
- Expertise on Lead-Free terminology, understand MDDS (Material Declaration Data Sheet), FMD (Full Material Disclosure)
- Understanding Product Change Notifications (PCNs), Product Discontinuation Notifications (PDNs), Alert Monitoring of Electronic Components
- Exposure to Obsolescence Tools such as IHS, Silicon Expert
