Job Description:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze testing requirements.
- Ensure a comprehensive understanding of user stories and acceptance criteria.
Test Case Development and Execution: - Design, develop, and document effective test cases for manual and automated testing.
- Execute test cases, report bugs, and track defect resolution.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Playwright and TypeScript.
- Automate web and API tests to improve efficiency and coverage.
- Perform exploratory testing to identify edge cases and ensure robust application behaviour.
- Debug issues effectively, working with developers to identify and resolve root causes.
- Communicate testing progress, results, and challenges clearly to stakeholders.
- Collaborate on CI/CD pipeline integration for automated tests using tools like Jenkins
Requirements:
- Proficiency in automation testing tools, specifically Playwright and TypeScript.
- Solid understanding of web and API testing methodologies.
- Experience in requirement gathering, test case development, and exploratory testing.
- Strong debugging skills to identify and resolve issues effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
- A strong quality-focused mindset with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins.
- Basic knowledge of Agile processes and test management tools.
