Job Title : Network Engineer
Location : Pune
Job Description :
- Responding to automated and/or manual alerts / events / incidents about network issues and initiating the resolution life cycle
- Remote testing / triage to validate alert/event/incident
- Contacting customer help desk and/or end-user and guiding through initial triage/troubleshooting to isolate network issue to hardware /cabling / transport
- Reporting issues and initiating trouble tickets with hardware / cabling / transport vendors
- Following up with vendors according to SLAs and escalation matrices to coordinate
Skills :
- Flexibility to work in a 24/7 environment with rotating shifts and weekly offs
- Entry-level training & certification in data networking by any leading vendor, i.e. Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Meraki, Checkpoint, Palo Alto. (Certification mandatory for external hires only)
- Acceptable business communication skills (written and verbal)
Qualification : BE / BTech / Any Graduate / MCA
