Job Description:
- Monitor the applications (presentation and middleware layers, database, scheduled tasks)
- Incident troubleshooting, communicate status to end users, prevent future occurrences
- Deploy new releases and patches in production
- Implement application configuration changes
- Automate and schedule applicative production and recurrent tasks
- Work on projects related to application improvement, migrations
- Manage Staging environments
- Define, implement, and maintain the disaster recovery plan
Responsibilities:
- Study application evolutions with the development and business analysis teams
- Create and maintain documentation
- Gather knowledge and share within the teams
- Suggest improvements to help team reduce repetitive BAU tasks
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
Skills:
- Knowledge & understanding of SQL Server / Sybase / Oracle
- Understanding of T-SQL or PL/SQL
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of Active directories
- Excellent Understanding of Windows/UNIX operating system
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of Perl, PowerShell scripting,
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of Oracle 11g/PLSQL
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Business/Customer facing skills
- ITIL Foundation level trained / certified.
