📝 Job Description:
- Job Title: Graduate Engineering Trainee
- Location Gurugram-90C
- Department of Digital Technology
- Function Enterprise Architecture and Engineering
- Reporting to Technical Lead / Engineering Manager
- Band 5
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and enhancement of software applications, APIs, and platform components under guidance.
- Learn and apply software engineering best practices, coding standards, and design principles.
- Write clean, readable, and maintainable code with support from senior team members.
- Participate in unit testing, debugging, and basic performance optimization of applications.
- Support implementation of small proof-of-concepts, prototypes, or technology experiments.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including development, QA, DevOps, and architecture.
- Gain exposure to modern development tools, frameworks, and cloud platforms as part of projects.
- Contribute to technical documentation, version control, and CI/CD activities.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with mentoring support.
- Actively participate in learning initiatives, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
Requirements:
- B.E. / B. Tech / MCA / MSc-IT
- Fresh Graduate or up to 1 year of experience (including internships)
- Strong academic foundation and hands-on experience through college projects, internships, or hackathons
- Demonstrated interest in software engineering and enterprise technology environments
Skills:
- Programming fundamentals with Java or other object-oriented languages
- Strong understanding of OOPS concepts
- Basic knowledge of data structures and problem-solving
- Familiarity with databases (SQL / NoSQL concepts)
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Willingness to learn multithreading, performance basics, and system design concepts
Good to Have:
- Basic awareness or coursework exposure to Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)
- Exposure to Docker, containers, or serverless concepts
- Familiarity with Node.js or any backend scripting language
- Basic understanding of frontend frameworks like React / Angular / Vue
