Job Description :
- Provide L1 Support to all the application users within Springer Nature
- Analyzing and troubleshooting technical problems and/or functionality questions and providing a solution to resolve the issue. Issues can be application-specific, and/or related to integrations internal to the product, or with application web server and backend database.
- The Role is to deliver high quality support to technical and non-technical users of through email, phone and documentation.
- Comply with the SLA for issue resolution
- Documenting troubleshooting and problem resolution steps.
- Initially respond to requests/incidents raised by users.
- Escalate requests/incidents to 2nd level Support Engineers.
- Act to restore a failed service as quickly as possible. (e.g. tasks in Translation Workflow Automation systems that have fallen in error stages which require corrective action).
Skills :
- Selected resource will be working as a Technical Support Engineer, IT Help Desk Technician or similar role
- Should have understanding of Windows/Linux environments
- Good knowledge and skills in SQL
- Should be able to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues
- Will be responsible for providing step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal
- Must be fluent in Spoken and Written English Language
