Job Description:
- Demand Forecasting: Utilize historical sales data, market trends, and other relevant factors to develop accurate demand forecasts.
- Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies that impact demand, utilizing tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, and Data Science modelling.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams—including sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain—to gather insights, align on forecast assumptions, and communicate demand expectations.
- Forecast Accuracy Improvement: Continuously evaluate and refine forecasting models and methodologies to improve forecast accuracy and reduce forecast error.
- Demand Planning Process: Drive the demand planning process from demand review meetings to consensus forecasting, ensuring alignment across all stakeholders and departments.
- Performance Metrics: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as forecast accuracy and service levels, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, the competitive landscape, and macroeconomic factors to anticipate changes in demand patterns and adjust forecasts accordingly.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and system enhancements to streamline demand planning processes and improve efficiency.
Requirements:
- Education: BE/BTech from a Tier 1 institute.
- Experience: 0–2 years of professional experience.
- Industry Exposure: Professional experience in E-commerce, Retail, or Analytics.
Skills:
- Strong Problem-Solving Ability: Demonstrate structured thinking, robust analytical skills, and a strong orientation towards processes.
- Strong Data Analytics: Highly proficient in Advanced Excel, SQL, and Python.
- Highly Action-Oriented: At Myntra, we foster a culture that values proactive action and swift implementation. The incoming candidate should demonstrate ownership of projects from conceptualization through to execution.
