📝 Job Description:
Analyst  – we are seeking a detail-oriented Analyst with prior knowledge in Reconciliation nad GL Accouting to join our Finance & Accounting (F&A) team.
- The candidate will be responsible for reconciling financial transactions, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records.
- Deliver high standards of quality
- Perform daily, weekly and monthly reconciliation of financial transactions, including bank, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounts.
- Investigate discrepancies and variances, ensuring timely resolution and accurate financial reporting
- Maintain reconciliation reports and documentation in compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve outstanding reconciliation issues.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and suggest automation solutions to enhance efficiency
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Understand client policy and procedures and its application on engagement delivery.
- Monitor actual performance against plan and make decisions to ensure business objectives are achieved.
- Reporting of issues of concern and risk to KGS Leadership, and where appropriate, to the client on a timely basis and pro-actively ensuring problems/issues are identified and solved.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
- Work experience
- Min 1-5 yrs of experience in financial reconciliation, accounting or related roles
- Strong knowledge of reconciliation tools, accounting principles, and financial reporting
- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot tables etc)
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data
- Strong command and ease of business English (spoken and written), native preferred
- Experience in shared services or outsourcing environments, especially in the Insurance, Banking and Asset Management industry is preferred
- Audit experience a plus.
- Strong presentation skills and ability to engage senior stakeholders
- Familiarity with automation tools such as Power BI, Alteryx or RPA solutions would be great to have
- Knowledge of IFRS, GAAP and other accounting standards will be an added advantage
- Awareness of the Regulatory & Compliance guidelines and other relevant legislation, procedures and processes
- Preferred background in Financial services industry, with exposure to Banking Operations and Risk Management, under the ambit of global service delivery set-up
