Job Description:
- We are looking for a Monitoring / NOC – Associate Engineer with up to 2 years of experience to support our IT Operations team.
- The role involves monitoring systems, applications, and infrastructure to ensure smooth operations and quick response to incidents.
- The candidate will be responsible for identifying alerts, performing initial troubleshooting, and escalating issues to the appropriate teams when required.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor production systems, applications, servers, and network infrastructure using monitoring tools.
- Identify, investigate, and respond to alerts and incidents in a timely manner.
- Perform first-level troubleshooting and escalate issues to relevant teams when necessary.
- Track and update incidents in the ticketing system.
- Perform routine system health checks and operational monitoring tasks.
- Maintain incident logs and assist in basic root cause analysis.
- Follow defined operational procedures and escalation processes.
- Coordinate with DevOps, Infrastructure, and Engineering teams to ensure system stability.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in NOC, monitoring, or IT operations.
Skills:
- Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix systems.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as New Relic, AWS Cloud watch mandatory.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS).
- Exposure to cloud environments (AWS/Azure) is an advantage.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems such as Jira or ServiceNow.
- Good troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Willingness to work in a shift-based monitoring environment (24X7)
