📝 Job Description:
- We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Cloud Engineer Trainees to join our Azure Cloud team.
- This role is ideal for fresh graduates or early-career professionals who are passionate about cloud technologies and eager to build a career in Microsoft Azure.
- As a trainee, you will work closely with Cloud Engineers and Senior Engineers to support, maintain, and manage Azure environments for multiple customers.
- You will gain hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, automation, monitoring, and operations while contributing to ensuring high availability, security, and performance of cloud deployments.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in deploying and managing Microsoft Azure Virtual Machines (Windows & Linux).
- Support configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of Azure IaaS environments.
- Perform basic troubleshooting for compute, storage, and networking issues.
- Monitor Azure resources using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Alerts.
- Assist in managing backup and disaster recovery processes.
- Work on Azure Networking concepts including Virtual Networks, NSGs, and connectivity.
- Support implementation of high availability and scalability for cloud workloads.
- Assist in automation of deployments using PowerShell and ARM/Bicep templates.
- Participate in configuring hybrid connectivity between on-premises and Azure environments.
- Maintain documentation for configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Continuously learn and adopt new Azure services, tools, and best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
- Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) certification is preferred (or willingness to obtain).
Skills:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred / Basic Knowledge:
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Azure fundamentals (IaaS concepts).
- Knowledge of Virtual Machines, Storage, and Networking in cloud environments.
- Familiarity with Windows Server or Linux OS basics.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (IP, DNS, routing).
- Exposure to PowerShell scripting or any programming language (Python is a plus).
- Awareness of cloud monitoring and logging tools is an advantage.
- Understanding of ARM templates / JSON / Infrastructure as Code (basic level).
