📝 Job Description:
- We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Engineer / Engineer – ERP Development to join our team.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining ERP applications, database components, and reports.
- This role is suitable for both freshers and experienced professionals, with responsibilities aligned to experience level.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and other database objects using Microsoft SQL Server.
- Design and develop web and console applications based on business requirements.
- Create and maintain reports using tools such as Crystal Reports, Jasper Reports, or SSRS.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Design, develop, and enhance ERP screens and functionalities.
- Perform testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of applications and database components.
- Ensure timely delivery of assigned tasks and provide regular status updates to the reporting manager.
Skills:
- Proficiency in SQL programming using Microsoft SQL Server.
- Strong understanding of database concepts such as tables, joins, indexes, and query optimization.
- Knowledge of developing stored procedures, views, and functions.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of .NET for web or console application development.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as GitHub.
- Exposure to or experience with ERP systems (e.g., Ramco or similar platforms).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Preferred Skills (Good to Have):
- Experience with reporting tools such as Crystal Reports, Jasper Reports, or SSRS.
- Knowledge of API development and integration.
- Understanding of database performance tuning and optimization.
- Prior experience with Ramco ERP is an added advantage.
