Job Description:
- Job Title: Analyst
- Location: Chennai
Shift: 7 AM IST - The Analyst will support the Credit Officer / Verification Officer in home loan Pre-Assessment, Rework Triaging, and processing Simple Rework applications.
Responsibilities:
Pre-Assessment
- Review new-money home loan applications to ensure all mandatory documents and bank disclosures are valid, signed, and within acceptable timelines.
• Perform identity verification by matching system information with the provided identification documents.
• Highlight discrepancies to brokers using system comments, following the standard template and predefined checklist.
Rework Triaging
- Evaluate rework items using the defined matrix to classify them as simple or complex.
• Route complex cases to the Verification Officer and independently process simple rework items.
• Escalate cases to the Verification Officer when uncertain.
Simple Rework
- Review pending conditions based on provided documents or information.
• Approve the application or issue a pending notice as required.
• Mark the application status as NPW if the broker indicates the customer is unwilling to proceed.
Skills:
- 24 years of experience in mortgage / home-buying processes.
- Strong attention to detail; thorough, accurate, and organized.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with strong customer focus.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and team-oriented.
- Strong judgment, critical thinking, and ownership of outcomes.
