Responsibilities:
- Engineering degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, with 1–2 years of professional experience in software testing or quality assurance.
- Understand and apply software testing fundamentals, SDLC, and STLC processes.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Rest Assured with Java.
- Perform web service/API testing to validate RESTful services.
- Execute database testing and write SQL queries to validate data integrity and backend processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA for task tracking and defect management.
- Participate in CI/CD pipelines and contribute to automation integration in the build and deployment process.
- Analyze test results, identify bugs, and work with developers to resolve issues.
- Contribute to test planning, test case design, and test execution for functional and regression testing.
- Maintain documentation related to test cases, test results, and quality metrics.
Skills:
- Exposure to scripting languages such as JavaScript or tools like Ansible.
- Basic understanding of performance, security, and chaos testing (Non-Functional Requirements).
- Familiarity with AWS services and infrastructure concepts.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and cloud-based testing environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- A proactive team player with a collaborative mindset and a passion for quality.
- Work Location: Pune Only
- Work Type: Hybrid Thrice a week from Office mandatory.
