Job Description:
- Designing and implementing new features, integrating 3rd party tools for our stakeholders
- Working with designers to implement engaging user experiences for thousands of users
- Ensuring that Akamai’s front-end applications are performant, accessible, reliable and responsive
- Working in an environment that fosters innovative solutions, rapid development cycles, and open communication
Skills:
- Have 0-2 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Have hands-on with Python3 and any RestAPIs-based modern web development frameworks like Flask, Django, FastAPI
- Have working experience with RDBMS like SQL, Postgres and ORMS like SQLAlchemy
- Have working experience with any JavaScript-based frameworks like React, Angular, and VueJS with HTML, CSS, TypeScript
- Have knowledge of accessibility standards, design patterns, styling approaches, tooling Eg: Material UI, CSS modules, Axe, Cypress
- Have a good understanding of CI/CD, Docker, Networking, Security, X.509 Certs, Linux and testing practices
