Job Description :
- Survey and accessing of routes issued by planning department for preparing the execution plan.
- Project Management – Oversee, track and report progress and quality of work being performed by construction coordinators and sub-contractors.
- OSP Construction methods like HDD, micro trenching, aerial, open trenching, aerial, etc.
- Knowledge of Fiber optic installation methods like cable pulling, blowing, floating, splicing, testing and acceptance etc.
- Hand over the route end to end to O&M team with proper documents for maintenance
- Will collect the OTDR and LSPM reports end to end from the vendor and submit to O&M team
- Issuing site instructions to the contractor
- Close monitoring of contractor activities and accelerating the work to meet time line
- Monitoring the activities of the contractor which shall not violate the specification prescribed
- Giving specification deviation, if unavoidable, in consultation with Project Manager and Design department sending duly filled specification deviation note for Manager approval
- Co-ordination with other operators and underground utility authorities
- In case of any accident / damage to the 3rd party property, inform the same to Project Manager and help the contractor in documentation
- Maintaining Updated records on material consumption as on date and material available with contractor
